There you go Family Guy

What I witnessed last night at 10 was a piece of sheer brilliance, crafted yet again by the South Park people. The way they are able to knit completely unrelated things...like the Family Guy and cartoons of Mohammad in this case...continues to amaze me. Frankly, I was never a fan of Family Guy, although I don't mind watching it anyday. There is a difference we should understand, the one that South Park people were trying to convey last night, that the family guy is a cartoon in a true sense, but South Park is more...much more than a bunch of jokes packed together. It takes a dig at the society, the jokes are embedded, linked and apt...and as Cartman said, they have an emotional content! So although both are animated comedy series...never ever brand them together!

But there was another big message in the episode which was kind of subtle... taking a dig at the Comedy Central for pulling the scientology episode off the air. Cartman tells Kyle that all it takes to close down a show is ONE episode...if muslims can pull off one episode from airing, Catholics too can and so on... until the show is no more! So true...yet again!!

Looks like you have found the right topic for your PhD. I totally agree though.

nice one Golu, though for me, like nishant, the most subtle and apt message was where the whole nation burried their heads in sand, 'LITERALLY' to avoid taking any action !
PS: Shawn, ur english suck big time! there is no such thing as burring, if anything it could be making a burr kind of sound or somthing, the correct word is burying !
