Venkatpathy Raju

Anyone following the Indian cricket in the 90's must remember the muscular built of V. Raju, a part of the Indian spin trio and one of very few people who can give Prasad a run for his money in batting. Style of bowling: Left arm super-slow.
Once he was bowling to Graham Gooch...penultimate ball of the session....a well-flighted ball, with all the loop and air it could gather, pitching on the middle stump...not turning ( as most of his deliveries). The batsman(what a moron) does not offer a shot and is hit plumb in front. Raju is excited, so is More, so is the entire Indian team...umpire vehemently denies it. Raju is animated...
Raju: Did the ball pitch in line?
Umpire: Yes
Raju: Was it going to hit the stumps?
Umpire: Of course, you moron, there was nowhere else it was going
Raju: Why the f did you say not out?????
Umpire: The bowl wouldn't have knocked the bails down, son!!
Raju: #$%#$#%
